Amaretto

• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups water
• 2 cups vodka
• 2 cups brandy
• 1 oz. almond extract

1. Combine sugar and water in a medium sauce pan, bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Stir in liquor and extract.
5. Transfer to tightly covered bottles.
