Sirloin Chile Recipe
- 2 lg. cans Brook Chile Beans
- 1 1/2 lbs. sirloin steak
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 lg. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 lg. onion
- Garlic salt
- 2 lbs. grnd beef
- 1 sm. can tomato sauce
- 1 lg. can V-8 juice
- 6 ounce. chili pwdr
- 1 lg. green pepper
- Pepper
- Cook juice, tomato sauce in pan with 2 ounces chili pwdr.
- Brown sirloin after cutting into 1 inch cubes, in frying pan with butter.
- Sprinkle with two oz of chili pwdr, garlic salt and pepper.
- As meat browns add in minced onion and green peppers, then add in to sauce.
- Then brown grnd beef, drain fat, add in to sauce.
- Cook approximately 15 min, then add in stewed tomatoes and chile beans, 2 oz chili pwdr.
- Simmer another 15 min.
