Macrobiotic Soy Meat Burger Patties

  1. Boil the soy meat for 2 minutes and then strain in a colander or sieve.
  2. Combine the ingredients.
  3. Mince the onion and saute in a frying pan with canola oil until tender.
  4. Combine Step 1, Step 2, and the ingredients and knead together.
  5. (It won't become quite as sticky as a normal hamburger patties).
  6. Form 6 cm diameter spheres.
  7. Let sit in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
  8. Heat canola oil in a large frying pan and pan-fry each side of the burgers until browned.
  9. Add the combined ingredients and coat the hamburgers with with the sauce.
  10. Then it's done.
  11. Use them as hamburger patties.
  12. Sandwich in a baguette, which has less calories than buns.
  13. Or make meatballs to use in bento lunchboxes.
