Quick And Easy Pepper Steak And Gravy
- 1 round steak cut into strips
- 1 box Lipton Beefy Onion Soup mix
- 2 bell peppers cut into strips
- 2 med. onions cut into strips
- 6 or 7 fresh mushrooms sliced thick
- 2 or 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- Cook steak in oil until lightly brown.
- Add enough water to cover the meat.
- Cook until meat falls apart.
- You may have to add a little more water.
- Only add enough to cover the meat, you don't want too much water at this point. When meat is done, add Lipton mix (both pkgs), peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
- Add 4 cups water. When all is done, add a few tablespoons of water to the cornstarch and mix well.
- Pour into the meat.
- Stir well.
- If you want it thinner add more water.
- If you want it thicker add more cornstarch (make sure to mix the cornstarch with a little water first).
- Serve this over rice.
