Cured Ham Pizza

  1. Thinly slice the onion, rub with 1 teaspoon salt and leave for 15 minutes.
  2. Wash off the salt with water.
  3. Squeeze and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  4. For the pizza sauce, you can either use a store-bought one or a home-made one (I'm going to upload a pizza sauce recipe sometime in the future).
  5. Prick holes all over the basic pizza basewith a fork.
  6. Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce over the base...
  7. Sprinkle the onion, red bell pepper, corn and mushrooms over the top of the pizza and arrange the ham in a circle.
  8. Top with plenty of cheese, and bake for 10-12 minutes at 300C.
  9. Eat your pizza just out of the oven and savour the thick cheese and crispy base!
