Cured Ham Pizza
- 2 Basic pizza base (27 cm)
- 12 slice Cured ham (e.g. proscuitto)
- 1/2 medium Onion
- 1/2 Red bell pepper
- 1 can Button mushrooms (canned)
- 4 tbsp Frozen corn kernels
- 4 tbsp Pizza sauce
- 1 Pizza cheese
- Thinly slice the onion, rub with 1 teaspoon salt and leave for 15 minutes.
- Wash off the salt with water.
- Squeeze and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
- For the pizza sauce, you can either use a store-bought one or a home-made one (I'm going to upload a pizza sauce recipe sometime in the future).
- Prick holes all over the basic pizza basewith a fork.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce over the base...
- Sprinkle the onion, red bell pepper, corn and mushrooms over the top of the pizza and arrange the ham in a circle.
- Top with plenty of cheese, and bake for 10-12 minutes at 300C.
- Eat your pizza just out of the oven and savour the thick cheese and crispy base!
