All American Flag Mold Recipe
- 4 c. Boiling water, divided
- 1 pkt (8 serving size) Berry Blue Flavor Gelatin Dessert
- 1 pkt (8 serving size) Any Red Flavor Gelagin Dessert
- 1 pkt (4 serving size) Lemon Flavor Gelatin Dessert
- 3 c. Ice cool water, divided
- 1 x 8 ounce. tub Whipped Topping, thawed
- STIR 1 1/2 c. boiling water each into Berry Blue and red gelatin in separate bowls at least 2 min till dissolved.
- Stir 1 1/2 c. ice cool water into each bowl.
- SPRAY 10 c. flag mold (or possibly any 10 c. mold you desire) with no stick cooking spray; place on cookie sheet.
- Pour red gelatin into mold.
- Chill 45 min or possibly till set but not hard (gelatin should stick to finger when touched and should mound).
- Chill Berry Blue gelatin in bowl for 45 min.
- MEANWHILE stir remaining 1 c. boiling water into Lemon gelatin in bowl at least 2 min till dissolved.
- Chill 25 min or possibly till slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites), stirring occasionally.
- Stir in whipped topping with wire whisk.
- Gently spread over red gelatin in mold.
- Chill 10 min or possibly till set but not hard.
- Gently spoon thickened Berry Blue gelatin over gelatin mix in mold.
- Chill 4 hrs or possibly overnight till hard.
- Unmold.
- Makes 16 servings.
