Beanie Weanies
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1 large can pork and beans
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 pkg. wieners, cut up
- 1 pkg. butter beans, cooked and drained
- Melt
- Crisco
- in pan.
- Add onion and bell pepper.
- Cook until soft.
- Add
- brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, dry mustard, salt
- and pepper.
- Simmer
- until
- sugar
- is
- dissolved.
- Pour mixture over hot dogs, butter beans, kidney beans and pork and beans.
- Stir until well coated.
- Pour into a large dish, cover and cook 40 to 45 minutes at 350u0b0.
