Dayton Art Museum Sugar Cookies

  1. Cream butter, oil, and sugars.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Whisk together dry ingredients.
  4. Add to wet ingredients and mix just until fully combined.
  5. Form into a disc, wrap tightly in plastic and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Roll cookies out to about 1/4" thick.
  7. Cut into desired shapes.
  8. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 350 F for 10-12 minutes.
