Shep Ogden's Little Pickles

  1. Rinse cucumbers and place in a quart jar.
  2. In a saucepan bring water, vinegar, salt & sugar to a roiling boil.
  3. Add garlic and tarragon and boil one minute.
  4. Pour over cucumbers.
  5. Chill at least 12 hours.
  6. This is best if it ages a bit.
