Czechoslovakia Bar Cookies Recipe

• 1 c. white sugar
• 2 sticks butter
• 2 egg yolks
• 2 c. flour
• 1 c. pecans
• 1/2 c. strawberry or possibly raspberry jam

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add in egg yolks, flour, and pecans.
3. Mix thoroughly.
4. Divide stuff batter in half and spread half of mix in a brownie pan.
5. Mash 1/2 c. of strawberry jam fine and spread on top of first layer.
6. Press remaining batter on top of jam layer.
7. Bake 1 hour in a 375 degree oven.
8. Cut in squares.
