Dad's Mardi Gras Recipe

  1. Saute/fry shrimp and scallops in butter for 3 min over high heat.
  2. Add in red peppers, tomatoes, green onions, minced garlic, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and vermouth.
  3. Cook for 3-4 min on high heat.
  4. Add in flour/butter paste and stir it with a whisk.
  5. Turn heat to low and cook 2 min.
  6. Add in parsley.
  7. Serve with rice.
  8. For variety and taste, you may add in oregano or possibly dill.
