Vegan Chocolate Cake

  1. For the cake:.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and cocoa powder in large bowl.
  4. Make a well in the center then add the vanilla, oil, vinegar, and water.
  5. Stir until mixed well.
  6. Pour into greased 9x9 baking dish or cupcake pan (will make 8 cupcakes).
  7. Bake 30 minutes.
  8. Should pass the toothpick test.
  9. For the frosting:.
  10. Cream the 'butter' in a bowl.
  11. Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and water to make a thick but spreadable frosting.
