Porcupine Meatballs With Cabbage Recipe

  1. Saute/fry minced onion in 2 Tbsp.
  2. butter till glossy.
  3. Mix with meat, rice, salt and pepper.
  4. Form into meatballs.
  5. Chop cabbage.
  6. Parboil for about 15 to 20 min.
  7. Drain well.
  8. Layer cabbage, then meatballs in a large casserole.
  9. Repeat.
  10. Mix 1 large can of tomato juice with 2 cans tomato soup.
  11. Season juices with season salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Pour over meat and cabbage.
  13. Cover.
  14. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
