Orange Spiked Carrots Braised in Vermouth

  1. In slow cooker, combine carrots, butter, and orange juice.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Place a clean towel over crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour.
  5. Add salt, pepper, coconut sugar, vermouth and orange juice.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, until carrots are tender.
