Peppermint Bark Candy

  1. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
  2. Crush candy canes into very small pieces.
  3. Melt candy coating in a bowl in microwave on high for 1 minute.
  4. Stir and microwave another 30 seconds.
  5. Pour crushed candy canes into melted coating and stir quickly only 'til candy canes are coated.
  6. Pour the mixture onto the wax paper.
  7. Spread into a semi-thin layer and let cool.
  8. When the mixture is firm, break into pieces.
  9. Place in air tight containers or baggies.
