Sawdust Pie Mix

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup flaked coconut
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
• 3 egg whites (& dry sawdust pie mix)
• 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

1. To make the dry mix:.
2. Place sugar and baking powder in small bowl and blend with a wisk.
3. Place this mixture into a small heavyweight plastic baggie.
4. Label it "Dry Ingredients".
5. Place remaining ingredients in another bag.
6. Label it "Sawdust Packet".
7. Attach bags together and give with instructions for "Making Sawdust Pie" (be sure to include sawdust pie mix on your card- the site would not let me put that as an ingredient).
8. Making Sawdust Pie Instructions:.
9. Place egg whites in a large bowl.
10. Beat with electric mixer until foamy.
11. Add "Dry Ingredients" from pie mix to egg whites.
12. Continue beating until stiff.
13. Gently stir in "Sawdust Packet" from pie mix.
14. Place mixture in pie crust.
15. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
