Sriracha Fried Rice
- 3 Tablespoons Oil, Plus 1 Teaspoon To Fry The Egg
- 2 cloves Garlic, Smashed And Chopped
- 1/2 cups Cabbage Chopped
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Sriracha Sauce
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt (or More To Taste)
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 1 whole Egg
- Heat 3 tablespoons oil and add the garlic.
- Saute for a few seconds and add the cabbage.
- Saute until it is crisp-tender.
- Add the soy sauce and Sriracha and mix.
- Add the rice and saute until the grains are separate and all flavors are well combined.
- Taste and add salt if you feel the need.
- Finally add sesame oil, mix and remove from heat.
- In another pan, heat a teaspoon of oil and crack the egg carefully and sprinkle a tiny bit of salt.
- When it is set, flip and let it cook for a minute or so, if you dont want a runny yolk like me.
- Serve the rice hot with the fried egg on top.
