Deviled Ham Salad on Marbled Rye Bread
- 1/2 pounds Smoked Ham, Coarsely Chopped
- 1/2 cups Mayonnaise Or Salad Dressing
- 1 whole Jalapeno, Seeded And Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons Paprika
- Hot Sauce And Salt For Seasoning. Optional
- 8 slices Bakery-style Marble Rye Bread
- 1- 1/2 cup Alfalfa Sprouts
- Chop ham in a food processor or with a food chopper until finely chopped.
- Transfer to a medium-sized bowl.
- Stir in mayonnaise, jalapeno, mustard and paprika and season with hot sauce and salt to taste.
- Spread half of the pieces of bread with deviled ham mixture.
- Top with sprouts and top each with other bread slice.
- Tastes great on whole wheat bread with a slice of cheddar cheese, too!
