Peanut Butter Fingers
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) chocolate morsels
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 c. peanut butter
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. evaporated milk
- Cream butter.
- Add sugar and brown sugar; cream well.
- Blend in egg, peanut butter, soda, salt and vanilla.
- Stir in flour and oats.
- Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chocolate morsels.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Combine powdered sugar, peanut butter and evaporated milk; mix well.
- Spread chocolate evenly.
- Drizzle with peanut butter mixture.
- Cool; cut into bars.
