Curried Rice - Cooked Like Spanish Rice.
- 4 cups white rice, raw
- 10 ounces chicken breasts, Boneless, Skinless
- 11 ounces pork loin, boneless
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) cangoya red kidney beans
- 2 tablespoons goya olive oil
- 7 garlic cloves
- 7 teaspoons curry powder
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 12 tablespoon rosemary
- 3 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 5 cups water
- In a Caldero (or similar pot), put Olive Oil - Do not heat until the garlic is put in!
- With kitchen knife - crush garlic cloves and put into the Caldero pot.
- and heat to high.
- Get garlic and oil sizzling.
- Brown the Chicken and Pork.
- Put in remaining ingredients and bring it to boil.
- Boil for 2 minutes and turn to low (i go lowest possible with my gas stove).
- Cover firmly and cook for 35 minutes - DO NOT OPEN LID DURING THIS TIME!
- Fish Garlic cloves out of rice and discard.
