Eight Layer Casserole

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef until brown; drain fat.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, basil, sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Bring to boiling point.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, uncovered. Combine sour cream, cream cheese, milk and onion.
  5. In a 2-quart casserole or 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish, layer half noodles, half meat, half cream cheese mixture and all the spinach.
  6. Top with remaining meat and noodles.
  7. Cover, bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 45 minutes.
  8. Chill remaining cream cheese mixture.
  9. Spread with remaining cream cheese mixture.
  10. Top with Cheddar cheese and bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  11. Serves 6.
