Black Vinegar Trotters Recipe

  1. Method:BLANCH trotter pcs in boiling water.
  2. Remove and drain well.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp veg.
  4. oil, fry ginger until golden and aromatic.
  5. Dish out and transfer ginger into a claypot and add in the black vinegar, water and brown sugar then bring to a boil.
  6. Simmer for 30 min until ginger turns soft.
  7. Add in the trotter and simmer until it is soft and tender.
  8. Bring a steamer with water to a rolling boil.
  9. Place the deep dish with the bundle of herbal chicken to steam for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.
  10. Top up the water in the steamer if necessary.
  11. When done, remove dish, open up the bundle and serve warm.
