Amish Cinnamon Flop Recipe
- 1 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 c. Flour
- 1/4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 2 c. Brown sugar
- 1 1/2 stk butter Cinnamon and nutmeg
- Cream Tbsp.
- butter and granulated sugar.
- Sift together flour, salt and baking pwdr.
- Add in alternately with lowfat milk to creamed butter and sugar.
- Stir till smooth.
- Pour into 2 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans.
- Dredge tops lightly with flour.
- Sprinkle 1 c. of brown sugar over each.
- Cut small pcs from the 1 1/2 sticks of butter and poke down into batter.
- Sprnkle tops with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Bake at 350deg F. for 20 min (or possibly till toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean) Serve hot.
