Improved Rum Cocktail
- Ice
- 2 ounces aged rum
- 1/2 teaspoon maraschino liqueur
- Dash of absinthe
- 1/2 teaspoon Rich Simple Syrup
- Dash of Angostura bitters
- Dash of Peychauds bitters
- 1 lemon twist, for garnish
- Fill a pint glass with ice.
- Add the aged rum, maraschino liqueur, absinthe, Rich Simple Syrup, Angostura bitters and Peychaud's bitters and stir well.
- Strain the drink into an ice-filled rocks glass and garnish with the lemon twist.
