Baked Brie In Phyllo
- 12 sheets phyllo pastry, handle according to directions on box
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. toasted sesame seeds
- 1 whole (2 2/2 lb.) round Brie
- 1 c. apricot preserves
- 1 c. slivered almonds
- Place first sheet of phyllo on buttered baking tray and paint with butter.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and so on until 6 sheets are used.
- Place Brie in center of phyllo.
- Spread preserves over top of Brie and sprinkle with almonds. Lay out another sheet of phyllo, paint with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame.
- Repeat for a total of six sheets and place on top of Brie.
- Gather pastry and decoratively enclose the Brie, pressing together to seal. Paint entire bundle with butter and bake in a preheated 350u0b0 oven until pastry is brown and flaky, about 35 minutes.
- Serves 8 to 12.
