citrus turkey
- 1 large turkey.i used a 11lb.turkey
- 1 large onion,cut into wedges
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges.
- 1 orange, cut into wedges.
- 3 fresh oregano sprigs
- 3 fresh rosemary sprigs.
- 3 fresh sage sprigs.
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp herbe de provence
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- preheat oven to 325f.
- clean out neck n giblets out of turkey.rinse and place on rack inside roasting pan.
- pat dry your turkey with paper towel.
- stuff your turkey w/ onion,lemon, orange, and seasoning sprigs.
- tie turkey legs together.
- rub turkey with the oil, and season w/ salt, pepper, and herbe de Provence.
- add 1 cup of water to your roasting pan.cover, and bake as long as directed for the size of turkey you use.
- I baked mine for 3 1/2 hrs.
