Crispy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

• 1/2 c. light corn syrup
• 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
• 1 c. peanut butter
• 2 c. crisp rice cereal
• 1 c. cornflakes, slightly crushed
• 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pcs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. In a 2 qt saucepan combine corn syrup, brown sugar and dash salt.
2. Cook and stir till mix comes to a full boil.
3. Stir in peanut butter.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Stir in cereals, chocolate pcs and vanilla.
6. Press into an ungreased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
7. Refrigerate1 hour.
8. Cut into bars.
9. Makes 36 bars.
