German Chocolate Caramel Squares

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
  3. Add flour mixture to butter and sugar along with eggs, milk and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Chill dough about one hour.
  5. Roll very thin and use a tin can to cut out cookie shapes.
  6. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 425u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle baked cookie with a little sugar.
  8. Yields 6 to 7 dozen.
