Apple Crumb Topping Pie

  1. In a large skillet, saute sliced apples in butter until crisp tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat; cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Combine sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples and mix well to coat.
  4. Place in unbaked pie shell.
  5. Mix together flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and salt.
  6. Cut in butter until resembles fine crumbs.
  7. Place crumb mixture on top of apples and bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes.
