Chocolate-Hazelnut Amaretti Cookies

  1. Cover baking sheet with waxed paper.
  2. Pour coffee into shallow dish.
  3. Dip flat sides of cookies, 1 at a time, in coffee; place, dipped sides up, in single layer on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with any leftover coffee.
  5. Mix cream cheese and chocolate-hazelnut spread until blended; spread onto flat sides of 36 cookies, adding about 1 tsp.
  6. cream cheese mixture to each.
  7. Cover with remaining cookies, flat sides down, to make 36 cookie sandwiches.
  8. Place nuts in shallow dish.
  9. Roll edges of cookie sandwiches in nuts.
  10. Return to baking sheet.
  11. Refrigerate 1 hour.
