Fruit Cake

  1. Use 1/2 cup flour to coat raisins, cherries and pecans.
  2. You can add some cooked figs also if desired.
  3. Grease and flour a large tube pan.
  4. Turn oven to 300u0b0.
  5. Cream sugar and margarine good.
  6. Add flavorings and eggs, one at a time.
  7. Add flour, one cup at a time, mixing well.
  8. Then take spatula and fold in raisins, cherries and pecans that have been coated in flour.
  9. Bake in oven at 300u0b0 for 2 hours.
  10. (Place pecan halves around on mixture before placing pan in oven.)
  11. Cool cake 15 to 20 minutes before removing from pan.
