Caramel Rum Fruit Dip

  1. Place butter and caramels in saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 12-15 minutes or until caramels are melted.
  2. Stir in pecans, milk and rum extract.
  3. Stir vigorously to incorporate butter.
  4. Keep warm; use as a dip for cut-up fresh fruit.
  5. *Substitute 1 tablespoon rum.
  6. Microwave Directions: Place butter and caramels in bowl.
  7. Microwave, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until caramels are melted.
  8. Stir in pecans, milk and rum extract.
  9. Stir vigorously to incorporate butter.
  10. Serve as directed above.
