Red and Green Holiday Mold

  1. Stir 1-1/2 cups of the boiling water into red gelatin in large bowl 2 minutes or until completely dissolved.
  2. Stir in cold water.
  3. Reserve 1-1/2 cups gelatin at room temeprature.
  4. Pour remaining red gelatin into wreath or 5-cup mold which has been sprayed with no stick cooking spray.
  5. Refrigerate about 45 minutes or until set but not firm (should stick to finger when touched and should mound).
  6. Stir remaining 1 cup boiling water into lime gelatin in medium bowl 2 minutes or until completely dissolved.
  7. Spoon in ice cream, stirring until melted and smooth.
  8. Spoon over red layer in mold.
  9. Refrigerate about 20 minutes or until set but not firm.
  10. Spoon reserved red gelatin over creamy layer in mold.
  11. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
  12. Unmold.
  13. Garnish as desired.
  14. Store leftover gelatin mold in refrigerator.
