Cheese Potato Bread
- 1 pkg. hot roll mix
- 1/2 c. potato flakes
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 1/4 c. hot tap water
- 1 egg
- 2 oz. (1/2 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- In
- large
- bowl,
- combine
- yeast
- from foil packet with flour mixture, potato flakes, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt. Stir in hot
- tap
- water and egg until flour is moistened;
- add Cheddar cheese.
- Stir
- until
- well
- mixed
- (batter
- will
- be sticky). Cover;
- let
- rise
- on
- wire rack over bowl or pan to which boiling water
- has been added until light and doubled in size, 30
- to
- 45 minutes.
- Generously
- grease 10-inch tube or 9-inch round
- cake pan.
- Stir
- down dough; spread in prepared pan.
- Cover; let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, about 30
- to 45 minutes.
- Heat oven at 375u0b0.
- Bake 30 to 40 minutes
- or
- until golden
- brown.
- Immediately remove from pan.
