Waffle and Pecan Stuffing

  1. saute onion, celery and apple in butter until softened.
  2. add herbs add seasoning to mixture.
  3. add chicken stock, brown sugar and maple syrup and reduce slightly.
  4. add waffles and toss until softened.
  5. add buttermilk and pecans and toss until completely coated followed by egg mixture to bind everything together.
  6. spoon stuffing into a casserole dish and cook at 350F for 45 minutes or until browned.
  7. let stand for 5 minutes and enjoy.
