Mexican Pizzas
- 1 1/2 c. Bisquick mix
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
- 1 c. shredded lettuce
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- Heat oven to 425u0b0.
- Grease 12-inch pizza pan.
- Mix Bisquick, cornmeal and 1/2 cup water until soft dough forms.
- Beat vigorously 20 strokes.
- Pat in pan with floured hands, forming 1/2-inch rim.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Cook and stir ground beef until brown.
- Stir in seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water.
- Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat.
- Simmer uncovered until thickened 5 to 10 minutes.
- Spread beans over crust.
- Top with beef and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 10 minutes longer.
- Serve with topping and taco sauce.
