Grandpa's Barbecued Ribs Recipe
- 3 pound ribs or possibly back bones
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 c. tomato puree
- 3/4 c. water
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Dash of grnd cloves
- RIBS: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown the ribs in the oven.
- Add in 1/2 c. water and 1 tsp.
- salt.
- Cover and bake for 20 min.
- SAUCE: In a saucepan, mix together the onion, tomato puree, 3/4 c. water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp.
- salt, paprika, chili pwdr, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Bring to boil.
- Pour sauce over the ribs and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min.
