Boysenberry And Apricot Compote Recipe

  1. Halve apricots lengthwise and pit.
  2. Cut each apricot half into 4 wedges and transfer to a heatproof bowl.
  3. In a small saucepan bring water and sugar to a boil over moderate heat, stirring till sugar is dissolved.
  4. Stir in zest and wine and simmer 5 min.
  5. Pour syrup over apricots and stir in boysenberries.
  6. Refrigeratemix 20 min.
  7. Serve compote with macaroons.
  8. Serves 2.
