Stuffed Green Peppers
- 6 large Bell Peppers
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1/2 cup Chopped Onion
- 1/2 cup Uncooked Rice
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 cup Pasta Sauce
- 2 tbsp Worschestier Sauce
- 1 Garlic Powder to taste
- 1 Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 cup Chopped Peppers
- 1 Salt & Pepper to taste
- Cut tops off the peppers, remove stems, seeds, and membranes.
- Chop enough of the tops to make 1/2 cup.
- In a large pot, boil enough water to cover peppers.
- Add peppers and boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from water and let cool.
- Sprinkle insides with a little salt.
- Pre heat oven to 350.
- In a skillet, cook beef, onions, and chopped pepper until beef is brown and veggies are soft.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Add water, uncooked rice, worcestershire sauce and garlic powder.
- Bring to a boil then lower heat, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add pasta sauce and mix well.
- Stuff the peppers and top with cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
