Louisiana Hot Chicken Wings Recipe
- 2 c. (4 sticks) butter
- 6 tbsp. Crystal warm sauce
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. warm pepper sauce
- 2 teaspoon dry oregano, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon dry basil, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon dry marjoram, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry rosemary, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme, crumbled
- 24 chicken wings, cut in half at joint
- Heat butter in heavy medium saucepan.
- Add in remaining ingredients except chicken and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Arrange chicken wings in ovenproof glass baking dish.
- Brush generously with sauce.
- Bake 15 min.
- Brush with sauce again.
- Continue baking till crisp, 15 to 20 min.
- Reheat sauce.
- Serve chicken wings immediately, passing remaining sauce separately.
