Chikuwa Roll Isobe Fries with Quail Eggs

  1. Boil the quail eggs to your desired hardness, peel the shells, and set aside.
  2. Cut the chikuwa in half lengthwise to make 10 sticks.
  3. Wrap the chikuwa around the eggs, and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Mix the flour and cold water, and add aonori.
  5. Dip Step 2 in the batter, deep-fry in oil at 180C, then you're done.
