Pork Chop Heaven
- 4 pork chops
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 10 ounces cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (2/3 ounce) packetgood seasonings Italian salad dressing mix
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Lightly grease a 9 x 13" baking pan.
- Place your pork chops in the pan.
- In a bowl, place your chopped onion, cream cheese, and cream of mushroom soup, and microwave on high for about 1 1/2-2 minutes.
- Stir contents of bowl until cream cheese is incorporated into the mix; add the packet of Good Seasonings Italian Dressing mix (regular or zesty) and stir again.
- Divide this sauce evenly over the pork chops in the pan.
- Sprinkle generous amounts of cheddar cheese over each chop.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes (depending on thickness of pork chops) or until internal temperature of the meat is 170 degrees F.
- Serve over garlic mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta with a nice vegetable on the side.
