Saltine Cracker Crumb Pie Recipe

  1. Beat egg whites till stiff.
  2. Sift together sugar and baking pwdr together and fold into egg whites.
  3. Add in minced pecans and saltines.
  4. Put mix into a 9 inch pie plate smoothing the top till it comes to the inner edge of the pie plate.
  5. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
  6. Pie won't be smooth in applesauce.
  7. When completely cold.
  8. Cover pie with whipped cream.
  9. Chill for 8-9 hrs.
  10. Before cutting, cut around edges with a sharp knife.
