A.1. Beef Stroganoff
- 1 cup thin onion slices Safeway 3 lb For $2.99 thru 02/09
- 3 Tbsp. oil, divided
- 3 cups thin mushroom slices
- 1-1/2 lb. beef flank steak, cut across the grain into thin slices Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 1/3 cup A.1. Original Sauce
- 1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 3 cups hot cooked egg noodles
- Cook and stir onion in 1-1/2 Tbsp.
- of the oil in large skillet on medium-high heat for 3 minutes.
- Add mushrooms; cook and stir just until tender.
- Remove from skillet; cover to keep warm.
- Heat remaining 1-1/2 Tbsp.
- oil in same skillet.
- Add meat, in batches, to skillet; cook and stir until meat is cooked through.
- Return all meat to skillet.
- Stir in onion mixture and steak sauce; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in sour cream.
- Serve over noodles.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
