Pork With Beans & Bacon Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean pork, cubed
- 3 tbsp. seasoned flour
- 2 fl. ounce. oil
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, minced
- 14 ounce. can baked beans
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 pt. chicken stock
- Coat pork cubes with flour and heat oil in frying pan.
- Add in onion and bacon and fry for 5 min.
- Add in pork and fry for 5 to 8 min or possibly till proportionately browned.
- Add in beans and cayenne pepper.
- Gradually add in the stock and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer to a casserole dish and cover tightly.
- Put into a preheated oven to gas mark 4 180 degrees C., 350 degrees F. and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till pork is cooked thoroughly.
