Pizza Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
- 1 whole Shallot, Diced
- 1/2 teaspoons Dried Red Pepper Flakes, Or To Taste
- 2 Tablespoons White Or Red Wine, Whatever You Have On Hand
- 1 can Tomato Sauce, 15 Oz
- 1 can Tomato Paste, 6 Oz
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Basil
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley
- 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
- In a saucepan, saute shallots and red pepper flakes in olive oil for a few minutes, until shallots begin to turn translucent.
- Add the wine and cook for a minute.
- Add the remaining ingredients (tomato sauce through oregano) and let simmer for 10 minutes.
