Baked Bean Medley
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can butter beans, drained
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. light molasses
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. canned, crumbled bacon
- Microwave butter in 1 1/2-quart glass casserole at High (100%), 30 seconds or until melted.
- Stir in green pepper.
- Cook, covered at High, 2 minutes or until pepper is tender.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, except bacon.
- Cook, covered, at High for 4 minutes or until boiling.
- Cook, uncovered, at Medium (50%) for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
- Sprinkle bacon over top.
