Roasted Honey/Citrus/Beer Chicken

  1. Prepare stuffing mix according to package only use 1/2 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup beer,& 2/3 cup water.
  2. Wash chicken.
  3. In large bowl combine the rest of the orange juice& beer& honey& olive oil.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add chicken turning to moisten well.
  6. Marinate 1 hour or more.
  7. Place cooking bag in a 9 x 12 pan.
  8. Add 1 Tablespoon of flour to bag.
  9. Chop Onion& Celery and add to bag.
  10. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
  11. Remove chicken from maranade.
  12. Sprinkle with garlic powder& pepper.
  13. Lightly stuff chicken.
  14. Place in cooking bag.
  15. Close bag cut 6 slits in top of bag.
  16. Roast at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2- 2 hours or until meat thermomiter reaches 180 degrees in thick part of breast.
