Premium Chocolate Chip Caramel Pie
- 1 1/2 c. crushed fat-free or original Premium saltine crackers (about 45 crackers)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 6 oz. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 c. crushed fat-free or original Premium saltine crackers (about 15 crackers)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. shortening
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup melted butter.
- Mix well.
- Press firmly onto bottom and sides of greased 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 5 minutes. Cool.
