Chili
- 2 lb. ground turkey or ground chuck
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 medium onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. coarse pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 (28 oz.) can Bush's baked beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can northern beans
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 c. Pace picante sauce (medium)
- Saute chopped onions, garlic and celery.
- Add ground beef; saute until well done.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cover and simmer slowly for about 1 hour.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve with a dollop of sour cream and grated Cheddar cheese.
